The Election Commission conducts all general and special elections in Scott County and, when contracted, helps the Republican and Democratic parties with primary elections. Commissioners are elected to four-year terms with no term limits. They must be qualified electors of Scott County living in the supervisor district they represent, and must complete annual certification training conducted by the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office.
